Dr. Michael J. Lee specializes in refinement and rejuvenation of the face, nose and body. He is a board certified plastic surgeon on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Lee has been in practice for over 10 years and specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery. The BEST YOU™ concept is a culmination of his philosophy to create the best possible version of each patient by focusing on attention to detail and an individualized personal approach.
“People often ask me what is my favorite surgery or what surgery I enjoy performing the most. I usually answer that I like the surgeries or procedures that deliver the most happiness. Sometimes it’s a Breast Augmentation in a woman who has had 3 children and is uncomfortable with what has happened to her breasts. Sometimes it is a young 18 year old woman who doesn’t like looking at her nose in the mirror or in photos because of a large bump. Sometimes, it’s a Facelift in a woman who looks in the mirror only to see someone who looks older than she actually feels. What is most rewarding to me is creating a result that gives the best version of you and makes you feel good about what you see in the mirror. That is what gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment in what I do.”
