Meet Dr. Michael J. Lee – Plastic Surgeon in Chicago, Illinois
Dr. Michael J. Lee specializes in refinement and rejuvenation of the face, nose and body. He is a board certified plastic surgeon on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Lee has been in practice for over 20 years and specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery. The BEST YOU™ concept is a culmination of his philosophy to create the best possible version of each patient by focusing on attention to detail and an individualized personal approach.

What Sets Us Apart?
Dr. Lee has a history of excellence graduating from the University of Michigan undergraduate and medical school in the top of his class. Both his general surgery and plastic surgery training were completed at Northwestern University School of Medicine including training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Evanston Hospital, Children’s Memorial and Shriner’s Hospital for Sick Children.
Dr. Lee has been invited to lecture on various facelift techniques and rhinoplasty as well as a variety of cosmetic surgeries including the latest techniques in facial rejuvenation, non-invasive procedures, breast augmentation, and abdominoplasty. Dr. Lee has published studies in cosmetic surgery in both the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. His published work has also been referenced by the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Lee has been interviewed on a variety of topics including risks of cosmetic surgery, breast implant surgery, and Botox and fillers for CBS and WGN as well as the Chicago Tribune, Today’s Chicago Woman and Plastic Surgery Advisor.

Dr. Lee is a consultant for both Allergan and Medicis and has been involved in several clinical trials for the new and exciting dermal fillers coming onto the market. The latest dermal filler which has been the result of a 3 year study is Voluma™ which is marketed for the midface and improving the overall shape of the face and lasts 2-3 years.
His offices are located across from the hospital in an elegant and private suite on the 20th floor of 676 North Saint Clair Street in Suite 2010. His offices have a dedicated state-of-the-art procedure room and two entrances to the office which allow privacy for after surgery recovery. Parking is available at the Northwestern Memorial parking lot with validation available.
